November Fabled Nights - our last for 2017

Its been a joy watching this open story evening slowly find its feet and grow.

Some months the room is full to bursting with a cacophony of storytellers and listeners and some months, its a more sedate gathering.

We're grateful to enjoy a Partnership with Hobsons Bay Libraries who make this wheelchair accessible space at the Newport HUB available to us.

We have the use of a terrific kitchen with all mod cons and the room has a screen and projector which has led us to explore Skyping international storytellers, seeing what others are up to on You tube and in November, we welcomed digital artist Rex Smeal who not only drew a story for us, he drew us!

Our technological experiments have led to some hilarity but we are learning.

During the year we have shared Mcing, the taking of photographs and filming and Alex has bought us a set of lights that we will soon all learn to use. And of course we have shared kitchen duties. The purpose of Fabled Nights is to explore and grow and to that end, we have been diligent.

We'll be back in 2018 on the third Friday of the month from March till November. Keep and eye on our website (the 2018 events are slowly being loaded into the calendar), sign up for the blog news and follow us on Facebook.
